Last Saturday, 31st March, an associate photographer (Oaktree Photography) and myself arranged a Studio Day for other photographers to get some studio experience. We had 10 photographers and 4 models in total and a good time was had by all.
For some of the photographers involved this was the first time they had been in a professional studio. It was good to see the progression throughout the day. In particular, one of the photographers who was initially very hesitant to get involved, blossomed over the period of four hours and by the end of the day was right in the thick of it, giving the model clear directions and actually demonstrating how she wanted the model to position themselves.
I think we are going to be arranging more of these days in the near future. Watch this space if you're interested.
